Chad Giessman

2020-2021 ASVBC Boys 18’s Head Coach

Chad Giesseman has spent two seasons with Aloha State VBC, serving as the boys 18’s coach for both years. Chad continues to play pivotal role in the boys program for Aloha State and has even coordinated the first ever college men’s volleyball multi-school recruiting combine in 2019!

Currently, Chad is the Volunteer Assistant coach for the #1 ranked University of Hawai’i Men’s Volleyball team. He has been on staff there since 2018. At the prep level, he served as the boys varsity head coach at McKinley High School from 2001-2017 and held a dual role as the girls varsity head coach from 2008-2015. He was also the boys varsity head coach at Hawai’i Baptist Academy (1994-1997) and Maryknoll High School (1991-1994). Chad also is the fouder and director of Kailua Men’s Volleyball Club, which features numerous UH Alumni and has established itself as the premiere Open Division men’s club in the state of Hawai’i. In addition, he has previously been the head coach of SportConX a professional team that competes in the Premiere Volleyball League and has coached club at Ao’a Koa Volleyball Club and Manoa Beach Club before making home, here at Aloha State.
