Edna Walker

Girls 13 Black Head Coach

This past 2019-2020 season was Edna’s first season with Aloha State VBC. She was the Head Coach of the 13Black girls team, working alongside her daughter Brenda Walker.

Edna Walker graduated from McKinley High School and furthered her volleyball career at the University of Hawaii – Hilo. At UH-Hilo, she earned NAIA All-American recognition in 1989 and still holds the single-season records for kills (517), attempts (1,333) and digs (557). Edna previously coached at Ta’ahine Volleyball Club and her alma mater, McKinley High School.
