Gabby Matautia

Recruiting Coordinator & Girls 18’s Head Coach

Gabby Matautia is our Recruiting Coordinator for Aloha State – actively assisting student-athletes of Aloha State build relationships with college coaches. She has successfully achieved the goal of getting 100% of the players who want to play at the next level, to the schools of their choice. Gabby will be returning this 2020-2021 season to continue her 3rd consecutive year coaching for Aloha State Volleyball Club. She previously head coached the 18’s girls teams in her first two seasons.

Gabby is a Moanalua High School graduate and was an Outside Hitter/Opposite for Temple University in Philadelphia from 2010-2013 where she was a First Team All-Conference honoree and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. Gabby previously served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the University of Hawaii Warrior Volleyball team and  earned her masters degree in Kinesiology. She has also worked as a camp coach for the Wahine Volleyball team and has been a head coach at A’oa Koa Boys Volleyball Club. Gabby also spent time as an assistant coach with the Hawaii Elite Southside 18’s and recently assisted the Moanalua High School Girls and Boys Varsity programs.
